ENGINEERING & COMPLIANCE

Technical Information

Precision electrical parameters and international medical-grade electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Electrical Specifications

  • Potential & Frequency Selection: Unipolar and Bipolar potential, Fixed and Dwell frequencies selectable.
  • Unipolar Output: From 4.5 Volt to 28.5 Volt peak.
  • Bipolar Output: From ±4.5 Volt to ±20.5 Volt peak-to-peak.
  • Unmodulated Frequency Range: 0.5 to 40,000 Hz.
  • Modulated Frequency Range: 0.5 to 20,000 Hz (Modulating frequency is 5 Hz).
  • Sweep: Deviation is ±1% of selected frequency.
  • Maximum Current: 200 ± 20 mA.
Why Only Square Wave Form? Wave form is strictly square because, according to international standards, a sine wave creates a shock hazard at much lower intensity (amplitude) compared to a square wave. Since high amplitude is important for effective resonance therapy, only the square wave is used.

Safety & Quality Standards

All Wave models comply with the relevant international safety and quality standards:

EN 60601-1-2:2001
EN 55011
EN 61000-4-2
EN 61000-4-3
EN 61000-4-8
Type BF Applied

The Wave range is manufactured under a strict quality management system and was tested by a certification laboratory to verify compliance with these standards.

According to the EN 60601-1 standard, our instruments are classified as internally powered equipment, Type BF.

A risk analysis has been carried out confirming that if you adhere to our safety hints, it is completely safe to apply on the human body — even for children and babies.
